Anshika Shukla, Class XI, Naval’s Academy, Rapti Nagar.

The rising cases of student suicides are a heart-wrenching reminder that our educational system must prioritize not only academic excellence but also the emotional and mental well-being of our youth.” = Anshika Shukla of class 11 from Rapti Nagar branch is here to make us aware about the ‘INCREASING CASES OF SUICIDE BY STUDENTS’

The phenomenon of suicide is constantly individualised or personalised, allowing society to escape accountability but in the light of today’s education we see that the process of education has also lead to unexpected social catastrophe, in the form of academic stress. High expectations from parents, teachers and society can lead to excessive stress and pressure to perform well in exams.

This pressure to succeed can be overwhelming for some students, leading to feelings of failure and hopelessness. For these students with suicide ideation committing suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Methods of inculcating hope among the youngsters of today should be emphasized on because the bravest thing one ever did was continuing his life when he wanted to die
